A Microsoft disponibilizou um plug-in para o Adobe Photoshop de forma a que esta aplicação possa abrir e gravar arquivos no novo HD Photo (conhecido também como JPEG XR).

Este plug-in é compativel com as versões CS2 e CS3 do Adobe PhotoShop. Os sistemas suportados são o Windows XP, Windows Vista e também o Mac OS X.
